Good day! First I want to thank you for your videos. They have saved me a lot of money in recent years. I have a 2008 Kia Optima 2.4 liter engine that I got from some older folks at a decent price for my son so he can drive to school and work.. when I started driving, I notice the steering was stiff when you come to a complete stop and do a 3 point turn or just turning when stopped in general. However, once you start driving, steering is back to smooth.. I followed the advice from your video on how to flush the power steering fluid and added the sea foam for power steering. I took it a step further and completely flushed the system until the fluid was clear. However, it drove fine with no stiffness for a short while and went back to stiff like before.. There are 0 leaks anywhere and all I can think of is, " is it the rack or the power steering pump?" What is your advice or other steps I can take to troubleshoot whether it's the pump or rack? There are no There symptoms other than stiff driving... no noise, car drives great and no play on steering wheel or wandering steering... Thanks in advance for your suppor!
Well try my video how to fix binding power steering. If that doesn't work odds are it's the pump
