So the engine temp gauge gets to about 3/4 of the way to the top, then it will slowly go down to about half and then eventually it will go back up all the way to the top and the engine temp light will come on. I’ve tried driving with the ac on and off and it doesn’t make a difference but when I use the Ac it doesn’t look like the fan is spinning and it will fluctuate from cold air to warm air

I got it fixed. It was the fan itself thanks

Thanks for reporting back with the fix.

Thermostat and radiator cap.  Put 12 volts directly from the battery to the fan.  If it doesn't work, you need a new fan.  If it does, check the fan control module and the temperature sensor.

The old owner wired a switch to the radiator and removed it and put the module in before I bought it, he claimed the switch worked and he got the module from an 07 Vic parts car that was sitting. Should I be concerned?

I have replaced the thermostat which was bad but it did not fix the issue

Get the correct module for your vehicle and remove the owner, jury rigged switch setup.

They messed up the wire that goes to the fan when they rigged it up
