I took off the muffler and exhaust of my 2002 toyota tacoma v6 because the rear catalytic converter needs to be replaced, im just waiting on the new one to arrive. It is MUCH louder, is it ok to drive until I replace the converter or will the noise attrack every cop in a mile radius. I live in VA

you will probably draw some attention.
Might trip some emissions trouble lights on your dash too. But no serious damage.
