Strange idling noise

I have a 2014 Honda Odyssey with automatic transmission and roughly 106,000 miles. A few days ago the Honda dealership replaced the rack and pinion steering. The car now makes a strange idling noise. Here’s a link to it. Any ideas?

They state that it’s the radiator fan belt beginning to give out and want another $1000 to fix it.

Assuming that's the cause of the noise, a leading brand of fan belt (Gates, Dayco, Continental) for that vehicle costs around $25, give or take a few.

Ditch the dealership and find a good local mechanic.

Jesus sounds like a tractor. If it didn't make that noise before you took it in take it back. They screwed something up. Things are rattling around like mad. And if it happened as soon as you picked it up from them. Obviously they had something to do with it

They state that it’s the radiator fan belt beginning to give out and want another $1000 to fix it. Naturally they claim they had nothing to do with its malfunctioning.
