Subaru BRZ 2017 manual transmission takes a while to react

Scotty, I have a manual Subaru BRZ 2017 with 50K miles. When I don't use the car for more than three days, there is a lag on the transmission when starting. In better details, I start the car and go to first gear, but the transmission takes like three seconds to react and then there a clack sound. After that it runs smoothly. Is that a concern?

Well Subaru transmission  were there weak points but with that low mileage Id change the fluid and see what happens no it might mean you need a new clutch assembly

Definitely sounds like there's a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearing in your future.
