What’s wrong with the newer flat 6 engines in some Subarus as opposed to the earlier ones? Head gasket problems?

Does Subaru still make Flat 6 engines? I thought they moved to all Flat 4’s and some of those Flat 4’s are turbocharged.
I think the last year for the Subaru flat six was 2019. Like other manufacturers they are being forced to discontinue large displacement engines largely due to government regulations.

Interesting. Porsche didn't have any problems with their flat sixes. Why didn't Subaru learn from them?
Porsche has indeed had problems over the years with their flat sixes.
