I’m looking for my first car and need which is more reliable 2013 Subaru Outback 3.6r with 85k or a 2012 Toyota Venza 2.7 with 85k. I have about a month until I have to buy one which is the better buy?
Please don’t double post, thanks.
If you need AWD, live in super rainy or snowy weather, go with the Outback. Otherwise, go with the Venza. That Venza is basically a Camry. And Camrys are known for their longevity.
assuming they both check out***
The Venza is gonna outlast the Subaru by a landslide. The 6 cylinder Outbacks are piles of junk, don't even think about buying one of those. If u wanna buy an Outback, go for a 4 cylinder model, since those are pretty good and the AWD system is one of the main selling points of the Subaru.
All else being equal (neither car flooded or salvaged and both maintained), Toyota all day long. Stay away from Subaru six-cylinder engines if you value your wallet.
An actual fixture at an auto shop. "Those subies sure pay the bills"
