Is suburu wrx sti from 2021 to 2022 worth buying and any issues to worried about. My friend wanted to buy it
First, there is brand new WRX coming out later this year and then a brand new STI next year.
Piston ringland failure causing engine failure has been an issue with the motors in the STI. There is currently a class action lawsuit underway by owners seeking compensation for damages, google it. Now Suburu supposedly strengthened this pistons in 2019, but who knows if that solved the problem?

Yeah they've had engine problems in like he said who knows if they fix the problem or not me I'd wait longer I wouldn't buy one until they've proved themselves over the years

They have some known engine issues. I'd wait and see how the new one fares.
