Hey Scotty & Team. I am a 26 yo young professional. Owned cars like Suzuki, Kia and driving a Chevy cruze now. I like pushing cars and the cars I have driven all my life so far go bad since they were not meant to be driven hard. I am looking for 1 car which can handle all abuse for next 15-20 years. Gotta do savings too so can't afford a new whip every few years. I like mustangs, chargers, lexus, beemers but also I kinda like the idea of pickup trucks. I am not in trades so I don't need a pickup truck but they are built rough no doubt. Let me know what car is good for me. Thanks. Good day!

Get a Civic si or Type R, but realize that you have to spend good money for repairs if you want to drive them hard and keep the car running for 10-15 years.

4Runner

Based on personal experience of having owned both at some point I would suggest Toyota's Land Cruiser (yes 2021 was their last year in the US so would have to find used) or their Sequoia as they are the top two cars for lasting well over 200k miles. But they are more expensive than the average car and also not very good when it comes to gas mileage. I did the regular maintenance myself and they lasted me a long time.

What kind of abuse are you talking about exactly?

Its interesting, I also had a kia optima 2015 and a chevy cruze turbo lt 2017 when they came out, didnt like them. cruze too many problems and scotty does agree those cruze do break down. the kia was faster speed, it was just more responsive at higher acceleration, its a gdi engine and transmission does feel more responsive, cruze a little sluggish after 50k miles and coming brand new with only 10 miles from factory. the cruze nothing fun on the turns, but kia better turning responsiveness.@kinshuk I RECCOMEND get a honda civic, manual or automatic

I have a honda civic hybrid and does drive like a dream, i love it and I would definately buy the new honda civic big time before buying anything else. Dont buy hybrid unless you know its cost and dont mind trying something different and smooth. 192,000 miles and car runs like new, oil change has always been changed every 10-15k miles, iam not changing every 3k miles just to be safe.

Lexus and chargers are very similar, i had a 1995 v8 lexus 2 door, it drifted too much, i would say a much dangerous car than a 4 door sedan. I dont reccomend a v8 unless you know its costs and potential danger, and if you do, make sure youre tires are always in really really good shape, buy new tires, if you have to replace 1, just replace the whole set of 4 brand new. I dont like chargers, they spent alot of gas, a guy told me he spends about 400$ per week, just to go to work and a few things here and there, I think he dragged race once per week legally, but Ill never spend that much ever. lexus on the other hand, are more luxurious, they give you fast responsive ride, you can abuse those cars and not feel guilty about it, my 1995 lexus i bought it used for only 300$, and it ran fine, but i used full concentrate coolant and messed up, it boiled up and I had to get it Wrecked because it rusted the engine inside. Never DO THIS, 50/50 mix is what will work.

So lexus if you want to abuse it and really drift

honda if you want the best most reliable car

charger if you want to drag race and dont care about expensive fuel consumptions.

You did mention Lexus, so maybe finding a nice IS 350 can be a good choice (don't buy any year of the IS 250). Yaser mentioned the Civic Si and Type R which are both great choices. An older-gen mustang with a V6 or a nice well maintained V8 model can be a good one (avoid the EcoBoost models). A Mazda Miata is a great choice as they are well made, zippy, and a blast to drive with the top down (make sure to buy the manual transmission). It will really come down to your personal preference.

I love those 2012 gotta have it green v8 mustangs, i would definately buy it as my next car {black}
