- Hello, I have a 2010 Toyota Camry SE with the 4 cylinder 2.5 liter engine. The car currently has 156000 miles. When I first get onto the highway I can smell a strong sulfur smell as I accelerate to highway speeds. After about a mile or so the smell goes away. What would cause this? Is my cat going bad?

Usually it's sulfur in the gas clogging up the catalytic converter. You could dry cleaning it with catalytic converter cleaner
