Improving reliability in a vintage car

Scotty, 1979 Corvette.  Engine, automatic transmission and brakes are good.  Had the carb rebuilt, replaced power steering system.  I just replaced the ball joints and exhaust system.  What other components should I check out to take a long (100 miles plus) trip in it. Thanks very much.  How are the new digs?  Wish you were closer!  Merry Christmas! 🙂

90K miles on the ‘79 Vette, base 350, California car, solid frame

You should check the bearing play in the rear axle hubs as well as caliper brake fluid leakage unless you already took care of that defect.

Thanks Dion, I’ll do that. Stay safe!
