Hey Scotty,

I have a 2017 Ford Escape AWD 2.0 ecoboost with 38k miles. When I was going up a small hill from stop the TCS light begin to flash and it had no power going to the wheels and was stuck in 1st gear despite giving it more throttle. I let go of the accelerator and it slowly went back to idle and as I gave it gas again it still did the same thing. I kept pressing and letting go of the accelerator until eventually the TCS light turned off and then I got all power back and it started to shift smoothly. Should I be concerned? This only happened once so far, otherwise car has been running great.

TCS is your traction control turn it off and see if does it again otherwise only turn it on when you absolutely need it. Because you don't want to have to replace that shit if you don't have to because it's gonna be expensive if you end having to. And honestly I'd drive that car a little longer and get rid of it and get something better AWD, ecoboost, 2.0l yuck... and Escape with a tiny 2l engine in it... {black}:vomited: drive it to 50k miles and sell it and get something else. You chose poorly with that car.

I agree with the above gentleman. Get rid of the car before you have more problems specially with the Ecoboost engine. Look for another car (Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Acura) and when you find the one, if you value your money, sell your car soon before getting more mileages.
