Hi,

I am looking at swapping my 2004 corolla (1.8L Auto with 220 000km) with a 2012 Ford Fiesta CL WT manual (164 000kms)

what is your opinion on WT CL manuals?
Are they good cars? Has lots of comments about different fords about transmission /engine and all sorts of topics...
My corolla runs good-small issues with it (one door does not auto lock/unlock -maybe faulty switch)

paint has peeled off

I fancy trying a manual car and 2012 Ford seems new compared to my corolla and the paintwork also seems better.

your suggestions?

Thanks

The biggest problem with those cars is the lousy dual-clutch automated transmission when so equipped which was the subject of a massive class-action lawsuit. With a manual transmission you don't have to worry about that. Be sure to have a good mechanic check the car out before you buy it.
