My throttle cable on a 1996 Toyota T100 2.7 liter 4 cylinder with 260 k miles is breaking. I have tried internet, auto parts stores, and the Toyota dealer. The cable is not being made anymore. Can the cable be reworked by a shop? Do you know of any auto, lawn mower, or motorcycle shop that does this?

Try salvage yards, google it, I was able to find several odd parts from recyclers on national search
