So I came across a Tacoma with 200,000 miles that has a rebuild title. They are asking for 6 grand. Should I get it? Everything looks nice. The only thing that is worn out are the seats but the paint and wheels look new. The inside is nice and clean.

I would pass on it. As I understand it, a rebuilt title is issued to a car that used to have a salvage title. You don’t know the true extent of the original damage which scares me. For greater insight to that issue check this sticky under FAQ.

Never buy a car with a rebuilt title. They are worth scrap value and not a dollar more.
