Hey Scotty, I currently own a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with 46K miles and am thinking of selling it and buying a 2014 Ford raptor with a V8 and 44k on the odometer. I know your feelings on Toyota but what are your thoughts on the raptor? Will it be as reliable and last as long as the Toyota?

Scotty always says that Fords are better than other American brands for trucks, but their transmissions don't always hold up to a bunch of abuse. The Tundra will of course be better, as well as your Tacoma, but if you want the capability of the Raptor, it should be pretty reliable as it doesn't have the Ecoboost which isn't the greatest engine. Just don't be surprised if you have transmission issues at a later date.
