hi Scotty, my Pontiac 2006 g6 sedan is making tapping sound. It has 140k miles. I bought it with 114k miles for $3400
What could it be?
I change oil every 4000 miles and add 2-3 quarts every 1500 miles

You should have researched it first. It doesn't sound like a very good car.
