I have a 2007 chevy cobalt. I'm pretty sure my tcm is bad. Should I have changed it when I put a new transmission in
It shifts hard. Did it with the other transmission and now this one

Wowsers, talk about using the parts cannon!
Best at this point to do some diagnosis before proceeding further. Any codes using a high-level scan tool?

it at least needs to be reset before you swap the tranny. It's just going to use the same shift parameters.

You replaced the whole tranny without first verifying it was the TCM?
