Hello, I have a 2008 Honda Civic with only 154,000 miles/automatic transmission and I am worried because when I put it into reverse the car Idles rough and when I put it into drive I hear a clunk. I’m not sure if the transmission fluid has ever been changed from the previous owner.

Check your engine mounts and fuel pressure for the rough idle. For the clunking sound, scan for codes and make sure it's not anything serious.

Thanks, also yesterday I was driving fast so I came to a 4 way stop and I braked but didn’t make a full stop and I stepped on the gas again and as I was making the turn, I felt the transmission took a bit to get into gear. I just hope that nothing serious was damaged by doing this
