2 Buick's - Transmission Question

Hi Scotty,

I have two Buick's that I have transmission questions about. I'm trying to keep these as long as possible.

1999 Buick Regal - 3800 Series II engine, factory supercharged, 183,000 miles
There is a low growling sound when accelerating in first and second gear. The noise is not present when revving the engine in park or neutral. The noise also gets quieter (but doesn't completely go away) when the engine is warm and up to temperature. Aside from the noise, the vehicle shifts smooth and is responsive upon acceleration. I'm wondering if the problem is with the torque converter. The transmission fluid has never been changed on this vehicle.
I scanned with Innova 5160 and the vehicle has the below six stored codes:
P0141 - HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0341 - Camshaft Position Sensor Performance
P0325 - PCM Knock Sensor Circuit
P0327 - Knock Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
P0332 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit Low Voltage Bank 2
P0420 - Catalyst System Low Efficiency

2004 Buick Lesabre - 3800 Series II engine, 85,000 miles
The car jerks when downshifting from third to second gear as I go up a steep hill. Aside from this specific scenario, the vehicle shifts smooth in all other situations. The transmission fluid has also never been changed on this vehicle.
I scanned with Innova 5160 and the vehicle has the below stored code:
P1811 - Maximum Adapt and Long Shift

Thanks for your help!

Mike

1999 Buick Regal: None of those codes are transmission related. What I would do otherwise is check the knock sensors, Camshaft Position Sensors and the Heated Oxygen Sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2. Check and see if the parts need to be replaced.

2004 Buick Lesabre: P1811 has to do with the Pressure Control Solenoid. I would check and see if that is bad or if the wiring is faulty.
