I'm getting ready to clean/replace the vvt solenoids on my wifes 2011 Chevrolet Equinox 3.0 with 350k miles...I was going to do an engine flush also, but, someone told me not to, because of the miles..any advice??...thanks, Calvin

If you are concerned about carbon buildup you could use a product like ATS Carbon Clean that Scotty has talked about many times. (Be sure to follow directions exactly if you use it.)

350K miles is a lot on any engine. Over time you've built up a lot of carbon in that engine and frankly, you could do more harm than good by trying to flush it.. I would not flush the engine. Give it an 'extra' oil change instead.

any particular reason? If you are diligent about oil changes you don't any flushes.

If it runs fine you don’t need an engine flush
