Hello. we recently bought a used Suzuki Swift with 130k on the clock. At the time, we had it inspected and was told it was all ok. A subsequent mechanic we went to said that certain parts have been replaced with non-stock parts, including the alternator. The issue is it’s getting absolutely terrible gas mileage. We get about 230k out of a tank. What could possibly cause this? I live in the Cayman Islands and reliable mechanics are scarce. My mechanic can’t diagnose anything wrong with it. Thanks, cam.
