Just yet another reason to avoid Tesla

(or any of that overly complex crap made by pretentious “technology companies” who don’t understand the concept of “when I buy a physical product from you, it is, in its entirety, my personal property”)


I agree, except more of these auto companies are heading in that direction, not just Tesla.


Yea It's hard to find normal new car nowadays.

even just cars that can be used both for stop-and-go traffic and on the highway, that's actually easy to service (without an e-brake, GDi, intake valve deposits, valve adjustments, oil consumption, needlessly complex computer systems, etc.) that has all of the 'good to have' amenities while not costing a fortune to buy and run.


This strategy is used by everybody, including mainstream technology giants who have been around for a century.
Yes it's your property , but if you want all the bells and whistles, then you gotta pay up. Same as it's always been.
In reality, this practice actually benefits savvy consumers. It won't be long before someone hacks the cars so people can get more capacity at the base level price. 😉
