My friend finally got his new toyota camry trd2021 and he loves it.

That thing is a beast

We got the car for $25000 with tax included.

If you ask how we got that cheap simple I found out one of his relatives work in toyota dealership so he got the car at lower price brand pretty neat right

So question arrives which car should be good on track

Mine : Civic Type R

His : camry trd

I agree with modman and toyotagrl. Toyotagrl result are pretty much accurate but can be impacted by driving condition and driver skills.
But we gonna weight till Saturday our day off so we can take car on track and see how both perform.
We gonna do rolling and standing race on circuit as those car are designed for it. Drag race is gonna be a joke so no drag.

People who responded will feel appreciated. The Honda Civic Type R is a good track car because they have modified the engine, added a spoiler, added racing seats, and exterior vents to cool the car down. The Toyota Camry changed the interior a little bit and the shocks. Toyota is not known for real performance like the Toyota Supra AKA BMW.

Correction BMW supra
And thx man you had been big help

@CarlJason98 Your welcome. Lol Goonzquad reference.

Correction correction rebranded BMW Z4 but somehow still handles better.

I think the racing series Type R Civic would be better on the track over a sporty Camry, but @mod_man will be the one to tell you for sure.

Don't ask him he'll tell you to buy a mustang v6 or something.

@JustASneakyDude I mean it depends on your needs if you don't care about reliability.

Nah it's just a little joke because he loves muscle cars and he's owned tons of them.

Assuming a good driver, Civic Type R on track for sure all day long.

No chance the Camry beats the Civic Type R. Two totally different animals, and I've got nothing against the TRD Camry. But the Civic was made for track duty.

Track day, the Civic Type-R. Nurburging time 7:43.8 seconds. The fastest street legal Toyota is the 2020 GR Supra at 7:52:17. Don't believe they even bothered to run the "ring" with the Camry TRD.
