Hello

I live in Canada and am looking for something that combines these 3 factors: cheap, fast, reliable. If possible, a 15 year old car or newer would be best, with a budget of about $4k.

Anyone got some suggestions?

thank you all very much

Its going to be hard to find ANY car that is cheap, fast, and reliable. Performance and reliability are generally at odds with each other in the automotive world and even if you can find a high performance, reliable vehicle it certainly is NOT cheap. I would recommend you look at what you need. Do you go to the track on weekends? If so then maybe reliability isn't as important since people in the racing scene can typically take care of their own cars. Are you looking for a car to get you to work? Well then performance is not nearly as important. If you want a good mixture of the three you're probably looking at a Honda Prelude or a 6th gen Celica. That being said, most people don't really need a car with 300+ hp (even if they are really fun) because the traffic laws in this country do not allow you to make good use of such a car without paying for the consequences in terms of both getting pulled over and making repairs to parts of the car that wear out quicker when you abuse them.

2004 Toyota Camry

LE Sedan 4D

Give or take a few years and exact model

These are bullet proof

Make sure to have it checked out by a good independent mechanic - pre purchase inspection

Autotempist.com is a great place to look in the US not sure if Canada is on there.

You should be able to do well with front wheel drive.

My mom has that car and has lasted around 435000 miles on it with just regular maintenance.

A Toyota Camry or a Honda Accord, the camry is a great car, the accord is zippier and faster.
