Theftlock Radio replacement

Last year I purchased a 2000 Camaro convertible with a 3800 Series 2 and only 129k miles.  The prior owner took out the stock Theftlock radio, and put in a cheap junk radio.  I was able to get my hands on an "old stock" Monsoon head unit and the original Monsoon amp is still installed in my car.  My car does have the Pass-Key II system, so is there anything I need to do to associate the new radio to my car?

Thanks

Generally on those then I thought system goes through the radio and if you install a new one you'll have to pay a mechanic to reprogram it all if it doesn't start. But if it does start and runs fine you could just leave it alone
