Hello, I saw a 2006 Mazda Mazda3 s for sale around where I live, listed for $3,900. The mileage is 124,954. The engine is a Gas 14 2.3L/138. The color is a silver metallic. And the transmission is automatic. Will this car be reliable for a student driver like me? I know this isn’t a Toyota, but I’ve heard mixed feelings about Mazda. What are your thoughts?
They are asking too much. They are OK cars but back then Ford had a large influence on Mazda and they weren't the best made. I'd pass unless you get it <$2500 and a mechanic says its in good shape.
The newer Mazdas are great cars, better than the older ones. New ones have a partnership with Toyota while the old ones had more Ford engines and Nissan transmissions. Not the best combo...
The car has a great feature that makes it go faster as it ages, it's called rust and it helps with weight reduction.
Price is too high, Kerem said it all.
