I would not buy a GM product made after 2008

Pass on it.  Hardly anything that comes out of GM can be trusted to last, even for the first 100,000 miles.  They’ve even had issues on their halo car (the Corvette).

Given the sad state of GM "kwality" in recent years you will likely wind up cursing every payment you make on one of those.

If you still plan to move forward with the GMC Denali, just lease it under warranty the entire time and return before the warranty expires. How well the warranty is honored and how well the dealers acknowledge/resolve the issue (warranty work does now pay as well and technicians nowadays throw “parts cannon” at the issue without the proper diagnosis) is a different story and my attitude is get a vehicle with minimal issues in the first place so you have less down time.
