Thoughts on a 2018 Subaru outback 2.5L 4 cylinder
Clarification: How many years and miles do you need it to last you?

They're pretty much OK but you have to figure the CVT ($8K-$9K) will be toast by 150K miles, give or take. Have a mechanic check it carefully with a dealer-level scan tool.
