There is a vehicle for sale near my house. 2006 Toyota Matrix XR AWD Automatic. 293,000. There is a list of like 20 different things that have been done/repaired/replaced on it both body and mechanical. One of those things is the transmission was fully rebuilt. That alone kind of makes me want to walk away. Also, hood, grill, hinges and latches plus mentions things like the rear hatch needed replaced (claim and branch fell on it), and then years later the latch assembly for the rear hatch. They are asking $4,300 for it. I don't know about underneath but the body doesn't look horrible. Aside from having a good mechanic check it out, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

Its a worthless car with $4300 I could get one with half the miles in excellent condition definite pass.
I would definitely pass.
