Scotty what's your thoughts on 2013 Chevy Cruze with 86k miles, will it be ok car if it has a stick shift?
The manual transmission is probably the only good thing about the car. The rest of it is junk. My sister is a GM retiree and she had a Cruze, started breaking down constantly once it got over 75k miles. She got rid of it and got a Civic.
Those cars have engine and electrical issues as well. I would pass.
One of the worst cars out there. TOTAL JUNK.
It's a total nightmare of a car, they are just always broken - with almost any cars you can expect to get 100k-120k miles without major issues but these begin to fall apart as soon as they drive off the production line, I've seen turbo engines go out at 60k.
It's quite funny, that on the older generation of these crappy cheap old GMs the is relatively solid thing are the automatics - you could even find some with a Toyota gearbox.
If you want a cheap small car, what has been working out for me, is getting older Ford Focuses with lower milage and manual - unlike GM junk, the old DuraTec engines (preferably Mazda designed, the Yamaha ones aren't great but not bad either) last quite a bit and electronics aren't as terrible as what you'd find on GMs. just don't pay much for them.
Pass on that vehicle, especially at that mileage.
