I have nothing against Chris i've met him numerous times. Just realize he is not a mechanic like me he has an ocean biology degree from Rutgers showing that he's a very intelligent man.

I've seen his vids. I think he has some really good videos myself. 

Chrisfix has excellent DIY videos and I watch his content a lot.  Lots to learn there in addition to old Scotty.  That being said, Scotty is a one-man show and doesn’t collaborate/make videos with other Youtubers.  He’s fine the way he is.

Chris is inspiring in the same way as Scotty- he demystifies auto repair and gives you confidence to do it yourself. Plus his optimistic can-do attitude is fun to watch. 
compared to Scotty, his videos are much more detailed but he produces much fewer of them (wish he did more).  He also mainly works on his own cars, not customers’. I like watching them both. 

I think Scotty and ChrisFix are both great.  Scotty is an old timer with decades of experiences.  ChrisFix is a young gun with years of experience.  I appreciate each of their takes on auto maintenance and repair.

As I remember from a video a year or two ago Scotty answered he doesn't like this guy. I forgot the explanation and which video is that. But I found another one. In a comment he describes the problem.

I think his videos are perhaps OK for easy repairs. For serious repairs I would still consult a pro mechanic.
