Good Morning Mr. Kilmer,
Two questions.
1. Do you recommend buying a 2019 Volkswagen Jetta S Sedan with 14,000 miles at $15K?
2. Is there a mechanic that you recommend in San Antonio, TX?
Thank you!
Scotty has a video on it.

Nah they are really endless money pits it is basically a complicated Audi made very cheap and falls apart.
If you do decide to buy it, then definetly have a mechanic check it out but buying it would be a mistake imo.
Please stay away from Volkswagen/Audi. Their build quality is terrible, especially their newer models. I do NOT recommend buying one, and you will thank us later.
Are you specifically looking for a German car? 2016 BMW 328i's are going for a similar price range (newer ones are out of your price range) and are WAY more reliable compared to Volkswagen/Audi. Yes, it will be more expensive to maintain (same story for the Jetta), but it will last you a decent amount of time.
If your not looking for a German car specifically, then maybe consider a Lexus...both reliable and pretty luxurious. However, the 2015-2019 ones are pretty expensive still at low mileage.
You're probably reading all this and saying "Why is the 2019 Volkswagen at 15,000 miles so cheap? Looks like a better deal." Well, because they're not that reliable.
Looks like the 2019 had lots of complaints about the drivetrain, transmission and engine.
