thoughts on purchasing this vehicle? i know its old but the mileage is really low at around 95k. Says 2 owners and is asking 2,950 originally it was marked at 4,500. Also do you think because the difference in the reduced price means something might actually be wrong with it. If you guys might think I shouldn't buy it regardless of the mileage because the year. Next time I will make sure to ask about higher up in years vehicles. Thanks

These pictures don't tell us anything.  Have you had it checked by a mechanic?  You never even said what make or model it is.  Are we just supposed to guess?

I'm sorry.honda civic 2000. And I'd like to get it checked.

Engine, transmission, private party or dealer, etc.  Who exactly says "2 owners?"

Would you please answer all the questions requested in the opening paragraph of this page?  Thank you.

Not sure question I didn't answer?

It's a 22-year-old car. The 95K mile claim is suspect. How handy are you working on cars? Even if basically sound you can expect it to nickel and dime you to death due to age-related problems - worse if you have to depend on a mechanic every time something breaks. Honda automatic transmissions of that era are weak, if so equipped. Be careful of rust problems.

I thought they would last a long time with required maintenance. But yeah that is true the mileage for that year is weird. I'm not savvy with cars but have a great mechanic but his schedule is different then mine so it's hard to get in contact with him. It's just hard searching for a car cause of these crazy prices and people be having a bunch of stiff wrong with them and still want a ton of money. But honestly I would want something slightly newer nothing too new though. I've been looking everyday. And I really don't want to go to dealership I hear they are rip offs.

It's already lasted a long time and if it died tomorrow one could still say it exceeded expectations. How much longer do you realistically expect a 22-year-old car to last in everyday use?

I daily drive a 25-year-old car but I can work on it myself and being semi-retired these days it doesn't get nearly as much use as in the past. I also have other vehicles that can be used if needed.
