Hey scotty, I cleaned out the MAP sensor and the throttle body using mass air flow sensor cleaner for the MAP and throttle body cleaner for throttle body. I tried to turn my car on and it cranks but won't start. What did I do wrong?

no MAF or MAP sensors are going to prevent your car from starting. You have a separate problem. Check the FAQ.
Make sure you re-assembled the intake correctly and you don't have a rag stuffed in it or something.
Ok. Thanks 👍
Remove your MAP sensor and make sure the cleaning didn't clog it up. Did you clean your MAF sensor as well? Check all your mounting screws and electrical connections for corrosion and tightness.
According from what I read I only have MAP sensor which correct me if I'm wrong is by the intake manifold. I looked for MAF high and low and didn't see it anywhere. My connections and everything else is fine. However I just saw your video on cleaning the throttle body. I did not disconnect the negative terminal. Maybe something shorted out. Of so what could it be?
You have a MAF sensor. See below -
Also, check your fuses. Disconnect the batter when working on any electrical components and connections.
It would really help if you provided all the information on your vehicle, ie, sub model of Forte, engine, trans, etc.

Ok thanks I'll try that.
So I turned it on it was a hard start at first. I tried cranking it again. Gave it some gas and rev it to 2000 rpm for 10 min. Its working. I smelt burning plastic like wiring. Im hoping a wired didn't get up lol thanks alot for everything scot youre the best. I hope one day I get to meet you. Im a huge fan and i live in Texas.
