Hey Scotty...can I use the good ol carburetor spray on the throttle body in my 2014 Honda CRV ??

I would use only the CRC spray specifically for throttle bodies. Carburetor spray is designed for carburetors, IMO.

Absolutely not. Carburettor cleaning solutions are for carburettors. They are designed to leave an oily film.
Use intake cleaner which leaves no residue.

I did it on my 1997 bravada, don't recall the results but that's a 17 year difference.
