Morning Mr Kilmer, my car has an ticking sound coming from the dashboard passenger side (RHD). The sound starts when the key is put to acc and continues when its started. It isnt that loud and can be heard more when the vehicle is at a stop. The car is a Suzuki Swift 2008 automatic trans.
P.S the sound isnt constant, its...erratic?

Sounds like one of the air diverters in the AC/Heat system. You might try changing modes on the heater/AC controls and see if the sound changes or goes away. Typically it's the diverter which changes the air blowing from dashboard vents to floor vents. There also might be a diverter for outside air vs recirculated inside air.
