Vehicle: 2009 Ford F-250 5.4L V8, lived most of its life in Florida so not too rusty. Issue: when I cold start the car, there is a ticking noise on the right passenger side in the front after 30s it goes away. Ticking can also be heard when accelerated. Sounds like it’s coming from up inside the wheel well, Any ideas? Thanks.
A video might help if you post it. What is the mileage?
right now im getting 8.4-8.6mpg (it jumps up and down) few months back i was getting 9mpg. truck only has 74k miles on it.

Check the oil pressure, valvetrain and spark plugs. You might also have an exhaust leak.
