Engine dies after running 5 seconds

Tiguan 2.0 tsi 4motion MY 2014 / 100000km car is running perfectly it happens that i start the engine it is working 5 seconds and dies no OBD showing after scanning what can be the issue, it can be cranckshaft?

There are no codes but what did you find in live data? Why do you suspect the crankshaft? (Presumably you mean the crankshaft position sensor.) What other diagnostic steps have you taken so far?

 


@chucktobias actually the problem that this issue is happening only 2times last month after fews hoours the car is normally working with no OBD after scanning i feel lost many reasons can be after this


A lot of things can cause this and intermittent problems are tough to track down. It could be an intermittent sensor fault, relay, fuel pump and those are just the obvious things. You need to do some troubleshooting when the problem occurs and it sounds like you have a window of time to work with when it does happen. Scanning for codes is just the bare beginning of the diagnostic process.
