Timeframe between CVT Trans Fluid Change

Hey, Scotty. My wife has a 2016 Honda Accord LX with 61,000 miles on it. Had the CVT fluid drained and filled at 58,000 miles along with filter change. Fluid did not smell burnt but was pretty dark. About half the engine capacity drained out so half is still inside mixed with the new stuff. I am worried too much of the old stuff is still in there and thinking I should do it again this weekend, that way roughly 75% of the old stuff gets taken out. Overkill or good idea? Many thanks!

half the engine capacity drained out

you mean "transmission" right?

I think you're fine. Do the next drain & fill in 30k or so.

Yes, "half the transmission capacity drained out" is what I meant. I  appreciate the advice. May just wait it out until it hits 90,000 miles for next drain and fill.
