Hi Scotty,
I have a 2007 Toyota rav4 with 167,000 miles. The car is either burning, or leaking oil. In between oil changes I have to add about 2 quarts of oil. The repair shop I went suggested it might be the timing cover gasket. They quoted me $1000. My question for you is, is there any sealant I can put to help the timing gasket reseal? Could I damage the engine by not changing the gasket and just adding oil?
Many thanks scotty. I watch your videos all the time!
Juan

- there is no sealer that will fix that but it's a typical problem and generally it only leaks a tiny amount and does no damage at all I would just leave it alone as long as it's not pouring on the ground
