I did a engine swap in my 1999 Tahoe SBC 350 5.7 vortec. Timing has always been my Achilles heel. #1 tdc, rotor button facing #1 pin in cap. Spark gap is 0.60, Getting fuel . What am I not doing. Suggestions

I assume it doesn't have spark and won't start. No spark is not a timing issue. Check coil and ignition associated wiring including ground straps.
