Tire pressure

My door panel say 30 front and 33 rear 33 psi on my 2007 tundra, but i am towing 7000 pounds of trailer. Tires are rated to 51 psi. Dealer says i will hurt suspension by filling tires to max psi. Is it ok to run higher pressure in tires than what door panel says? Thanks for any info.

If it's a trailer then it has it's own axle right. What matters is the tongue weight.

You can increase a bit, but I wouldn't go full 50. Not only would that ride miserably, but you get less traction too.

There is a risk of over inflated tires

I wouldn’t inflate tires more than 3 to 5 psi over what’s on the door jamb - cold pressure, that is.

As to the pressure listed on the tire's sidewall, that is the maximum pressure to which the tire can be inflated and still support rated load, … you don’t want to go there, … trust me.
