Scotty, how important is doing regular tire rotations. It is listed in every owners manual, but I do not know anyone who really rotates their tires. I assume it will simply make your tires wear more evenly and make them last longer. Is there any other reasons it is always recommended? Thanks.

In general it's to even out wear across all 4 tires. It's more important to do on AWD vehicles where the tires have to be kept very closely matched.

You should rotate them if you want the tires to last longer and give you maximum grip. They're not exactly cheap these days.
It will also help prevent abnormal tires wear and vibrations.
Given how EASY AND QUICK it is to do, I see no good reason NOT to rotate them. I can do the job in less time than it takes to drink a beer.
