I got 2016 Toyota highlander with about 118000. I recently got a flat tire on the expressway and changed it out for a spare. When I went to Costco to get a quote they told me the tires that were on it were the wrong size. It had 235 tires instead of 245 tires which was what the sticker on the door said. The Costco guy told me the difference was big because I got a suv. I’m upset about it because Firestone sold me the tires last year. They also recently messed on my oil change and forgot to change out gasket on the oil plug. All the oil leaked out on my drive way and I had low oil pressure lights. They came to my house to fix at no charge but all this left a bad taste in my mouth. I made a complaint with corporate. They want to replace the tires for 245 but I have to pay the prorated rate. I had the tires for about a year titear and half. What should I do?
We always tell people not go to Firestone or other chain shops for exactly this reason. You need to find a good independent mechanic so start asking everyone you know for a referral.

better than nothing. Take it.
Or if you want, sell 235's yourself if you think you can get more money.

never go back to Firestone and consider it a lesson learned.
