Hi Scotty
I changed my oil in my 2008 Lexus ES350 and it seems that I over filled it by a 1/4 of a quart. Should I drain out that little bit or do you think it would be ok?

It depends. If the vehicle burns some oil, the level will go down. 8oz is not much of an overfill. Scotty, more than once, indicated that a small overfill won't create damage (unlike ATF).
It can be hard to read levels on 0w20 fresh oil, right after a change. I can understand the small overfill.
If you want peace of mind, no harm in a small drain of excess oil.

Drain out the excess, until the oil is at the full mark on your dipstick.
You don’t wanna risk blowing out any seals, even though a 1/4 of a quart may not do much harm.
