Toyo All Weather tires and 2006 Toyota Corolla

(1) I just purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla LE auto trx 33k miles for $6k. Runs good so far. What’s the key to make it last as long as possible?  One thing is when I turn key to start, I have to hold the key in ON position for 2 seconds before engine starts whenas in other cars, I only have to hold key in ON for like 1 sec.

(2). Regarding Toyo All-Weather tires, are they good?  Can they be substitute for swapping to my winter and all season wheels each year ?

thanks.

Toyo all weather tires are good tires but by their very nature are a compromise between summer tires and snow tires. Whether or not they will be adequate for you depends on both how worn they are and how severe the winters are where you live. Plus, if you are the first one out on the road before dawn and before the roads are plowed you will be facing a bigger challenge than if you can wait until the roads are plowed before you venture out. So go ahead and see if the all weather tires get the job done for you. If not, go ahead and put the winter tires and wheels on. Good luck!
