I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander with 80,000 miles. I notices an audible buzzing/ humming noise coming from the rear portion of the interior that lasted at least 10 minutes. The vehicle was parked inside garage all night and nothing was turned on . After I turned the car on obviously the noise disappeared. This only happened once. There were no electrical (battery) appliances in the vehicle at any time. So, care to give this one a crack at or am I cracking up from old age.

try unplugging fuses until it stops

Modern vehicles run routines in the background at different times, even when turned off. Your noise is likely caused by the operation of the fuel evaporation leakage checking system and is normal.
