Is the 1MZ-FE engine with vvti interference or non-interference?

I think we already answered this. The 1MZ-FE is Toyota's 3.0L V6.

All you have to do is put it in a web search, or check wikipedia

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota_MZ_engine

is the vvti interference or not?

Non interference. But there are some who say that the early models of the engine are interference but was changed shortly after to non interference.. some questions can be hard to answer, things do change also information can be conflicting, even data from manufacturer can conflict with its own information.

This particular list I got directly from a Toyota mechanic at a dealership awhile back. There are other list that are similar that can be found on forums

Thanks. Great information.

Just a FYI my list was missing the  2.4 l diesel and the 1.5L 1A-C, 3A-C & 3E Interference. I got those off the Toyota engine forums but double checked before adding them
