Dear Scotty, I am looking for Toyota 4Runner for my dad. We would like to take back the 4Runner back home in Europe and install a propane autogas (LPG) kit. We are looking for something around $10,000 and below 200K miles. We heard that the after 2012 they changed the engine so it is hard to install a propane autogas kit. What year of 4Runner would you recommend? WHich is the most reliable? Which is best for Europe to install the propane autogas kit?

I'd say a 2010 would be best. But I have no idea where you would get it converted because nobody converts them here in the states anymore. They had lawsuits about explosions and propane and eject the car insurance rates up so high. Nobody does it anywhere

Thanks Scotty, I plan to install the conversion kit in Europe and there are now lawsuits there.
